Notes: Written for anat_astarte's birthday! <3 I told her that one day I would attempt to write an Itachi with more sexual appeal/drive than a wet sandbag (where, tragically, he defaults, in my mind). I tried, I really did.

And I'm sorry it's so late! I tried to finish it by midnight, but apparently that didn't work out. D:

( Itachi kisses like Anko does (so perhaps sharingan was useful that day, after all--though to Anko the idea is absurd, almost laughable), wets her lips with his tongue before sliding in between them sideways. )

Epic~♥ I have nothing to say about Itachi that I wouldn't rather express in writing (er, fic-writing, rather than blog-writing), but nimblnymph wrote up a lovely Itachi post. The comments are equally as thought-provoking, though I confess I haven't read them all. They're quite numerous and involved, and I have the attention span and mental capacity of a mayfly at the moment. (TRY TO BE A LITTLE HOTTER, CALIFORNIA. I don't have air conditioning, so I'm just... reaping the benefits one-hundred percent! :F)

One thing I do want to say, though. The new theory flying around is that Danzou, with Shisui's ability to manipulate others unbeknownst to them (which, for all its coolness and importance, was never mentioned earlier), manipulated Itachi into slaughtering the clan. As cool as mindfuck always is, I'd be disappointed were that the case. Because, personally? I don't want the blame to be on Konoha's elders. I don't want it to be on Madara (though I'm sure he contributed in hiw own way; he's Madara. He's (literally) everywhere, all the time). And I don't want it to be on Danzou. Itachi conducted the Uchiha massacre. I'd like him to take full responsibility for that.

But hey, what do I know? I just write fan fic, XD. And I will continue to do so regardless of how far from canon I end up straying.

I need to make myself a more angst Itachi icon. I use this for everything Itachi-related (discussion, fic I write, comments on fic I've read) and it is rarely ever appropriate in terms of tone/mood. XDD

+ "Cradle Stories" is only the first part of a fic I never finished, because I didn't really like Itachi's characterization--I stole one of the scenes and added it to cradles, eddies.

+ "Four Bowls" is a random collection (in no particular order) of scenes I've written for a longer fic. I'm still writing that, and still planning to rewrite these, so any concrit would be awesome.

At the bottom of the sink, there are two bowls and one pair of chopsticks. A film of evaporated broth coats the bowl a translucent yellow-green, and flecks of hard, dry rice from days long past stick to its sides.

Was it Mother's, from some night when she ate alone, left her chopsticks for Father to use when he returned home? Had he eaten it, some breakfast he poured down without thinking that it would be the last of its kind? (Or perhaps it was Itachi, knowing that it was.)

His body arches, and his legs skim down the length of Madara's underbelly, pelvis. Itachi's foot (sandal gone) squirms fishlike against Madara's cock, as Itachi starts to drown drown drown in air.

14 Mar 09: Cradle Stories (G; Itachi, Shisui, horror, WIP)

He emulates Shisui as best he can. And though it rips through his hand first, it flies and flies and it hits its target. Itachi curls his hand into his sleeve and looks at the sky bleeding red with sunset, hopes that is enough for today.

Father is not fooled. Be more careful, he grunts, as he kneels down forces Itachi's palm open. It strings sharply in the open air, and Itachi cringes. Fugaku gives him a look that says, I am sorry. I forget that you are only a child, and that children can be hurt by a good many things.

I requested Itachi/Kisame (Naruto), Federico/Ruth (Six Feet Under) and Serra/Matthew/Leila (Fire Emblem), because they were the most morose things I could think of--I figured they needed some Happy. I'll probably have to write my own SFU, though. And probably Fire Emblem as well, come to think of it. SIGH. OH WELL. (I'm also using my Super Happy! icon, hur.)

And I finally read this month's manga chapters; I may have accidentally skipped the first week I left off reading them, come to think of it, but uh. I didn't notice, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Naruto: New characters I don't care about. Naruto's flashbacks in 454 made me sad; SIGH. SASUKE. I have epic fic ideas to put to use for Madara, though. This guy is so much fun!

Bleach: Awesome, for Aizen's massive latent potential. Him fucking Soul Society (twice) were the most interesting parts of the series, and I'd like to see what the Vaizard are able to do. (And lol, Wonderweiss.) Hitsugaya is so adorable; he hasn't been around long enough to know wtf this is all about. XD Except...the entire chapter of Vaizard vs. gillian was pathetic. I don't care about them enough to want to read through that.

Linkin Park's "New Divide" is 100% Itachi and Sasuke, for the Itachi vs. Sasuke arc.

Normally, I'm wary of attributing Linkin Park's music to anything, because for literally every fandom I have EVER BEEN IN, Linkin Park has always fit things astoundingly well (and my thinking here is that since it stands for everything, in actuality it must stand for nothing). But my god!

Sasuke POV:

The hands--! 354 reminds me of the RukiRenji part of my OT3, which makes me happy because Ichigo is kinda pissing me off. And wow, Hitsugaya getting his ass beat by Halibel! Good chapter, good chapter. As for Naruto--I'm sorry, Nagato, but I'm not sure if I care. You're going to have to do better than dead parents if you want sympathy in Ninjaland, civilian or no. Loved the part where Konan rushes in front of him, though. <3

Hiatus break because It's Saturday, Damn It. And because I am now moving from this lovely, lovely book and into the dark realm of PhysicsCalc. I'm trying to gauge when our next exam will be; I will SHOOT a bitch if it's before/during AP exams. T_T And it just might, because my teacher is a smiley bastard.

The only real difference between Patrick Mulvaney and Itachi (besides their relative misery levels, appearance, other small things) is that Patrick Mulvaney lets Little Brother in on the plan.


It does make me wonder, though. What might have happened, had Sasuke been included in Itachi's own little venture.

Because the remilitarization of the Rhineland inspires ficlet-requesting/reading, I need to tell the world that this by scarlet_pencil is the most hilarious thing ever and I love it. Totally the pick-me-up I needed. XD The prompt I gave was I, for Itachi Speaking Nonsense. Itachi/Kisame genship.

The first day of spring! The anniversary of Itachi's death, and thus the anniversary of my having started reading Naruto. Sadly, this also means it's been more or less a year, and I've yet to contribute anything to fandom. XP

This was going to be the accompanying lolpic, but I decided potatosack!Itachi is not completely in keeping with the tone of the poem. The poem itself is actually Rukia's, in my mind, but for today I guess Itachi can borrow it.

It doesn't have eyes.

There are creases in its mottled skin where the eyes would be, like they are sewn shut. It reminds Itachi, none too comfortingly, of the men in the deepest of Konoha's jail cells; the condemned men. (Shisui tells him those men have not seen light since before he was born--what need have they for eyes?)

This thing has never seen light, at all. Perhaps it is condemned as well. Itachi would understand why. His mother rests in the adjacent room; she smells like blood-iron, just like any other dead thing.

It almost killed her.

But it is so small, he thinks. Like a baby.

Ok, so I randomly started reading Naruto, and now I'm like ITACHIIIIIIIII!!! Oh my god, I was reading the chapters where he dies and now I'm so sad! I want Itachi really badly now!!! I really really like Itachi now!!!! awwww :(

--Makes me flashback to eighth grade, a certain friend, and a certain bridge between three fandoms.

I do not think she will ever do fandom with me again (she never did do LJ fandom with me), or write with me again, or just all-out hardcore fangirl with me again. But still.
