I decided not to include all the pictures of my food, even though food/eating food with my flatmates is my primary source of joy outside of Show (and you guys!). Still, though? Half of these involve food or events related to food. O life. XP
The running joke here is that La Jolla only has one time of day: sunset. At least, that's what the pictures seem to capture.

School dance. It involved a bubble machine and lots of cupcakes, so I was happy.
Day of Remembrance, the planning and execution of which consumed my entire life for five long months. It's a conference-workshop-presentation style event that featured speakers, former internees, and an art gallery in commemoration of Japanese and Japanese American internment during WWII. It went so much better than I ever could have hoped, and I'm extremely grateful for all the day-of support I received. <3 Tragically, I'm still doing post-event things for this. But I guess it's for a good cause...? XP AND OKAY, I'M STILL REALLY PROUD OF HOW THESE FLYERS/PROGRAM TURNED OUT.

LINKIN PARK, San Diego, CA. This was phenomenal, you have no idea. I've been listening to Linkin Park consistently since I was thirteen but I've never been more in love with them than during and after this concert. They're amazing live--which truly surprises me, given their genre and their screaming. I'd never been to a rock concert before this, but I was floored. And I absolutely plan to see them again sometime. Linkin Park, bbs. <33
Habitat for Humanity in National City, CA!
MORE SUSHI, WTF. Bonus points for it being delivered sushi. At like 1am. During the last week before finals. Score
...And one more picture, because my brother is awesome:
It brings tears to my eyes, it really does. How could I be any more proud. ♥ ♥ ♥
