Track 07: "Counting Stars" by One Republic

I actually really like this song, but that doesn't keep me from recognizing how ironic this particular association is. I guess this song is supposed to be about self-actualization or something; idk, it's the Top 40. Does it matter?

But if you had between 6pm and 1am to kill while waiting for a Greyhound in Canada, and only five songs to keep you company, you'd have ended up associating it with SPN, too. 9x22 had just aired and I hadn't seen it yet; but as I'm sure Dean can attest, it wasn't that hard to see how that was gonna go.

Below the cut, I've embedded the music, and then, in the absence of fanvid-making abilities, a lazily-but-earnestly composed series of lyrics/gifs. I thought that would best explain how this song has been forced to relate to SPN. :D

I'm sorry, Dean. You're my favorite. <3

Social Networks?

I've been itching for real-time fannish (or non-fannish! friendish! :D) conversation lately, so if any of y'all use other social networks, I'd love to link up with you!

I'm also on Facebook, and recently I've been trying to remember to log into Skype for the text-chat function. I'm also constantly on GChat. If you'd like to be socially networked on any of those, please PM me and I'll give you my usernames~

And if the Facebook world decides to jump on Ello the way fandom jumped on Tumblr (and back in the day, MySpace jumped on Facebook), I've basically just decided that the social world is welcome to continue on without me. I've always been destined to be a hermit, anyway. XP
