My second two cents

At the beginning of every season I'll typically watch the first few episodes multiple times before the next one airs. But this behavior tends to drop off as the season progresses, not because the love and excitement has worn off, but simply because there's more of the season to actively be in love with. When there's only two or three episodes, it's easier to hold them all in your head and watch your way through them than it is when there's twenty shiny things to be in love with all at once. XD

But there are always exceptions, late-game explosions of compulsively necessary rewatch material. 5x16 was one; and 6x19. 8x20. 10x19. And 10x21, because I absolutely love everything about that episode. I loved its beats, the camera framing, the character stuff, interactions new and old, everyone's acting A-game, the tension, the way the baroque spectacle of the Stynes played against the bare starkness of that final scene (pushing SPN's dealings in both genres and aesthetics to a whole new intensity of encounter)--everything. I loved everything. ♥

Sorry guys, this one was written for me.

Bring on 10x22! \O/ [& please help keep this journal a spoiler-free zone!]
