Dear Self: Save These For Later

Since SPN is in the habit of fulfilling my every hope and dream, no matter how bizarrely specific, here are some things I need to remember to prompt the next time I need prompts:

1. Fanwork involving these babies:

2. Fanwork involving this new app, which has the bizarrely specific function of letting you know whether anyone's died in your house before. Though I guess as apps go, I guess that's not that bizarre. XD BONUS POINTS OF THIS SOMEHOW TIES INTO SINISTER!SEARCH THE WEB TECH BETRAYALS that aren't "the ghost is in the Wifi!"

3. In a similar vein, fanwork that has something to do with the intersection of ghosts and property law. By which I mean, The Ghosts of Pickering Trail, by Will Hunt and Matt Wolfe. The piece is about a lawyer who deals with property law cases around the homes of infamous murders or murderers (like the OJ Simpson house), and actually has a means of calculating how a haunting affects one's material property values. The possibilities are endless!

-- AU where Jess ends up part of the family business, Sam actually does go to law school, and Jess goes for her PhD before pulling out because she disagrees philosophically with the toxic nature of the Ivory Tower and petty departmental in-fighting and dismal job prospects in her field (hello mid/late-2000s recession!) and gets her real estate license instead, as a reaction to the egregious miscarriage of real estate ethics involved in the housing crash. Newly-minted-lawyer Sam and rage!real estate agent Jess find a niche market no one imagined.

-- curtain!fic where Sam and Dean help a family out, not by vanquishing the ghost in the house (which proves impossible for whatever reason) but by buying the house no one else will touch.

Were I not otherwise occupied writing fic, I'd totally want to write orig!fic about environmental law and haunting. It would take a lot of research, though.
