Not that I'm opposed in the least!! But WOW.
P.S. Pamela's the greatest. <3
P.P.S. Sera is so important. <3
P.P.P.S. I can't believe we profaned Bad Company in this Dean/Anna sex scene, omg. I've seen it a thousand times and it never stops feeling silly! Anna is super cute, though.
P.P.P.P.S. It's kind of pleasant to affirm that however disinterested I was in S11's mytharc, that has almost always been true. I'm not interested in S4's mytharc, either. So brava for consistency, I guess. XDD Sort of relatedly, there are so many little things we do more to my taste now than we used to (though there are also things we did much more to my taste then than now, too). I'm glad we've gotten to stick around long enough to see and experiment. <333
P.P.P.P.P.S. Uriel is the funniest angel in the garrison.
P.P.P.P.P.P.S. In terms of things I am interested in, though, I'm very interested in Dean/Hell this time around! And like, I feel like that was probably true at least the second time around (and all times succeeding). It had to have been?? I'm sure I was???? I actually don't remember how that felt, though. XP But this time--it feels like this whole new thing.
I love how slowly the experience unfolds over the season, and how seriously Dean takes it every time someone (Castiel, Uriel, Demon X) threatens to send him back. And the way Heaven militarizes that threat so dispassionately. :O
I think the difference is I'm finally over the idea that for some reason SPN needed 40 years of torture in Hell, because 4 months didn't seem dramatic enough as it stood. (That is still ridiculous.) But it's been seven years, and I guess I can accept that that's a thing.
Maybe seven years from now I'll accept that 11x23 reminded me so much of the ending to Good Omens! But I read Good Omens like a decade ago and I'm still unimpressed, so maybe these things all have different radioactive half-lives. :P
