In other news, transportation depresses me. I hate making transportation plans because even as you're making your life choices you have to sit there thinking GOD I'M GOING TO REGRET MY LIFE CHOICES.
1. I'll be in CA for a funeral this weekend. The earliest bus to the airport leaves at 3:55AM, which will be JUST BARELY enough time to get to my flight on time. If I leave my house at 3:30AM and still miss my goddamn flight I'm going to be so mad. XP
2. My return flight gets in at 6PM, which is an entirely reasonable time. But my bus back to town doesn't leave until 10:15PM. I guess those are all right hours to be spending in an airport, but GDI now I have to pack dinner with me and who wouldn't rather be at home than at the airport?
3. I'm going to a conference at the end of September, and have an early morning flight back to DTW at 5:45AM. Problem being, the shuttle from the town the conference is in doesn't start running until 10:30AM. So I'll need to take an evening shuttle. Which means I'm either going to be sitting in an airport from around 11PM until 5AM, if they'll let me, OR, if they don't--because I assume it's a fairly small airport--I'll be wandering around... outside of it... All night.
I just. I HATE!!! AIRPLANES!!!!!
And this is all assuming these flights to according to plan. My track record with this is not great, to say the least. XD
